For you pay tithe of mint and rue and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.
Luke 11:42 NIVBinny singhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18059952353813127235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470202075630377865.post-57485712045386205992009-03-07T08:22:00.000-08:002009-03-07T08:22:00.000-08:00Malachi is not addressed to the church. Mal 1:6-14; 2:1-2, 17; Neh 13:5-10.

The Bible does not command the church to tithe and it does not allow tithe-recipients to become wealthy and own and inherit land per Numbers 18:20-29.

The whole law was a test --not merely tithing. Obey ALL and be blessed. Break ONE and be cursed. That is why Galatians 3:10 replaces Malachi 3:10.

Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

You bring a curse upon yourself by adding law back into grace. Tithing is not found for the Church after Calvary.

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Russell Earl Kelly, PHD
www.tithing-russkelly.comRussell Earl Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08503861082402192378noreply@blogger.com
